"A Secret Love" birthday celebration was conceptualized and hosted by the one and only eventologist, Tim Yap. It was a night of fun, good food, good wines c/o Manny O. wines and yes, it did have Tim's flair of fashion as the party was held inside the kitchen of the Manila Peninsula Hotel. What a unique concept for a party, right?

The opposite side of the main table where crepes topped with strawberries, blueberry and ginger cutlets were served.
When guests enter the kitchen, they were given a stem of rose courtesy of Mabolo Flowers and Home. It was a sweet gesture just to greet the guests before getting in the party. Guests were close friends of the celebrant and were exclusively invited for the event.

THE MAIN EVENT
When Lovi Poe entered the kitchen, everybody was starting to compose themselves to greet the beautiful Lovi Poe. She wore a very simple attire to the event but nonetheless, she was really oozing with beauty inside and out. I truly know she was surprised and very happy to see the setting of her birthday celebration. She was all smiles and greeted everyone inside the room with it. Here she is below.

Of course, a birthday isn't a birthday without a cake and a candle to blow on. A surprise cake and a serenade thru the tune of happy birthday was played for her.

When inside the kitchen, you can pick whatever food that is served on the table (I preferred to stay near the desserts area where the yummy cakes were served ;] ). Food were appetizing and delectable and where served by the executive chefs of different specialties of the Manila Peninsula Hotel (check photos below). Also, wines from Manny O. were served, too!

And of course, I don't want to forget the desserts in which I would really like to recommend to try it at Manila Peninsula. And if you do, don't forget to call on Chef Sebastian, the executive pastry chef of the Manila Pen. ;)

It was a night to remember, a night to be with friends, a night to celebrate someone special's birthday. It wouldn't have been this special without Tim Yap's imagination and brilliance in organizing events. This event, he also made for his collection and will be published in a book soon.
